Our Mission
“As an unexpected family, we encourage the unlikely to root themselves in an uncommon love.”
Our Vision
“To be a house of prayer for all people, including you!”

Our Story
In 2006, our founding Pastor Al Doseger and an adventurous group from Next Church decided to move their experimental service called “Church in a Box” to a different neighbourhood with different needs and challenges.
They ended up buying the “Old Polish Hall” on the Corner of Russell and Patrick streets and started services (both church and otherwise) directed toward the specific needs of the Neighbourhood located in the blocks between Stephen, Railway, Montreal and Division Streets, a section of our city characterized by subsidized housing, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and all sorts of beautiful people.
Things officially kicked off on Thanksgiving of 2006, in June of 2019 we became an official Society (a grown up church!) in the Free Methodist Church in Canada, and by the Grace of God, we’ll soon be celebrating 20 years of ministry in 2026!

A Blessing sent to us on our 5th Birthday!
(We hope it becomes us!)
May your hearts frequently Rustle with the stirrings of the Holy Spirit.
May you be a light on Russell Street that Rustles up all sorts of souls – like moths to a flame.
May your pockets Rustle and jingle with generosity and have much to provide.
May you easily Rustle up feelings of Love and Welcome for everyone who enters your door.
